A individual indicted with harassing Kate McCann reportedly recorded her a recorded message which questioned: "suppose I am Madeleine?"

The defendant, twenty-four, who witnesses stated has persistently asserted she was the missing Madeleine McCann, and her co-defendant are standing trial indicted with harassing Kate and Gerry McCann from June 2022 and February this year.

On Monday, the tribunal learned call records and information retrieved from phones documented Ms Wandelt consistently asking Madeleine's mother for a genetic test over the past two years.

Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - when she was three years old during a vacation in Portugal - is considered the most widely reported investigations and continues to be unsolved.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'

One phone message, presented in court, recorded Ms Wandelt saying: "I understand I'm heavy and plain like Madeleine was, but I feel what I believe."

While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's recording said: "What if there is a small chance that I am Madeleine? What happens next? Isn't that significant for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I maintain a existence here in Poland, I simply desire to know," the recording stated.

The tribunal was informed that by means of emails, SMS messages and calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a biological test, transmitted youth pictures to her phone in a bid to display a likeness to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and claimed to have "flashbacks" from a early life with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, an intelligence analyst with law enforcement who compiled the information, told the court there "showed no any replies" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also contacted acquaintances of the McCanns, as per the communication logs.

On that date, Mr McCann responded to a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "incorrect contact information."

That day Ms Wandelt recorded a message on Mrs McCann's recording saying "I won't give up and I plan to establish my point."

The court was informed Mrs Spragg developed a association online with Ms Wandelt prior to assisting her on a visit to the McCanns' residence in the county in that winter.

Phone records showed Mrs Spragg had reached out through WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to state the press had characterized Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she should be treated respectfully in the time preceding the visit to that location, the county, in December 2024.

The court was told correspondence between the two defendants, in that autumn, planning endeavoring to get Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her trash or from cutlery at a dining venue.

"We must assert ourselves," Mrs Spragg informed Ms Wandelt.

On the evening of the appearance to their residence, the defendant sent a text which stated: "We're currently sitting outside the McCanns' house with our vehicle dark resembling investigators. I had hoped to achieve this with someone else I never thought I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."
