The UK airline will offer no-cost quick onboard connectivity by way of Starlink partnership

Flyers on British Airways will soon enjoy high-speed wifi during flights free of charge following a major deal with SpaceX's space firm.

Free plus Fast Internet Available to Everyone

The carrier stated that the no-cost, “fast and dependable” wifi provision via Starlink will be available to travelers in coach, premium economy, or first class starting soon.

Widespread Deployment Across Several Airlines

The parent firm for British Airways, International Airlines Group, stated it had secured an partnership with Starlink for providing wifi access on over 500 jets operated by their airlines, which also include Aer Lingus, Iberia, and the low-cost airline.

Uninterrupted Connectivity starting at Boarding to Landing

The airline stated that the rollout for this system was included in a seven billion pound “upgrade” plan that will offer lag-free wifi service for travelers starting at the gate to landing, also when in flight across seas and isolated areas.

Customers will be able to connect numerous devices and do not need a separate login.
